bpatcher and pattr initialization issue

My bpatcher’s pattr binding won’t initialize.

When the patch is opened, I would like the bpatcher’s pattr binding and its external file link to both be set. Right now, only its link is set, and its pattr is unbound.

It also appears that the pattr binding cannot be manually set with the Inspector if the external link already set. One must temporarily set the link to null, then reset the pattr binding, and finally re-establish the external link.

I have tried saving the patch with only the bpatcher’s pattr binding but have yet to find a way to automatically set the external link when patch is opened. I had wonder if there’s a way with setting attributes as arguments but then there’s no box.

I’m sure I must be over looking the obvious. Sorry if I’m bringing up an old issue, but I couldn’t find any other postings with the same issue. Any suggestions on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

I just solved my own problem. It was all too obvious and I overlooked it.

In case someone has a similar question, here ’tis.
