bug? gate object in gen~ with >2 outputs

May 2, 2014 | 6:10 am

When I try to creater a gate ogject with >outputs in gen~ I get an error like this:

clang: error line 1923 column 22: use of undeclared identifier ‘gate_5579′
clang: error line 1923 column 22: use of undeclared identifier ‘gate_5580′

Am I doing something wrong?

In the interim, wrote my first codebox for this, I don’t know if this is the most efficient ( I think a switch could be better):

Param dest;
x = in2;

out1,out2,out3,out4,out5,out6,out7,out8,out9,out10,
out11, out12,out13,out14,out15,out16,out17,out18,out19 = 0;

if (dest == 1) out1 = x;
else if (dest == 2) out2 = x;
else if (dest == 3) out3 = x;
else if (dest == 4) out4 = x;
else if (dest == 5) out5 = x;
else if (dest == 6) out6 = x;
else if (dest == 7) out7 = x;
else if (dest == 8) out8 = x;
else if (dest == 9) out9 = x;
else if (dest == 10) out10 = x;
else if (dest == 11) out11 = x;
else if (dest == 12) out12 = x;
else if (dest == 13) out13 = x;
else if (dest == 14) out14 = x;
else if (dest == 15) out15 = x;
else if (dest == 16) out16 = x;
else if (dest == 17) out17 = x;
else if (dest == 18) out18 = x;
else out19 = x;

}

…The other outputs don’t need to be reset to zero every clock cycle, so the initial set of all outputs to zero is not necessary.

This has been fixed in 6.1.7. Now gate in gen~ supports up to 15 outputs. Thank you very much :)
