[BUG] How to crash Max 4 & Max 5

hi list

this crash is reproductible on every version on Max (i only tested it with
OSX)

can you confirm & investigate for the Windows versions ?

Crash confirmed on XP.
XP SP2, Max 5.02, Sigmatel MME drivers.

Thanks for the report. The crash won’t happen in the next incremental.
That said, it will output random numbers instead… If you want to
make sure that you don’t get any signal [gate~], [*~]+[line~] are
better strategies.
