BUG: standalone app building with 5.0.3: problems with DSP Status

June 27, 2008 | 11:29 am

I just tried to build an app with 5.0.3 that only contains the adc~
object. When I run the app, and doubleclick the adc~ in the app, I get
a weird looking DSP Status Window, and a slew of error messages in the
console window.

I understood this bug would be fixed in 5.0.3.

Am I missing something?

Best,

The bug that was fixed was that including a patcher via the collective build script was broken. Now it works. You still need to include the "DSP Status.maxpat" patcher though. Just click on the "Patcher…" button in the Collective Dialog and navigate to your C74:/interfaces/ folder and choose "DSP Status.maxpat" before building your app.

Ah. OK. I thought it would be automaticaly included whenever someone
uses the adc~ or dac~ objects(which means the enduser of a Max app may
doubleclick the object when visible). Wishful thinking, I guess…

Anyway, I’m glad there’s a solution now.
