This is probably a very elementary problem, but I'd appreciate some enlightenment.

The xcode projects that came with the Max/MSP SDK 5.1.1 won't build for me -- I'm using XCode 3.2.4 on Mac OS X 10.6.4.

The set of errors I get happen in the preprocessor when I try to build simplemax.c:

error: stdarg.h: No such file or directory

error: float.h: No such file or directory

error: xmmintrin.h: No such file or directory

error: array type has incomplete element type

I've tried switching from GCC 4.2 to GCC 4.0, specifying the Mac OS 10.6 SDK, and using another user's XCode templates for Max/MSP -- same problems.

This may not be a max specific problem but nevertheless if there are any xcode mavens out there I'd most appreciate some pointers. No pun intended. :)
