is there a button or toggle, which supports more than 2 states, preferably an M4L object, and - important - which doesn't have the extended space needs of, say, live.tab?

I can't find an easy way to do this in matrixctrl, really.

It already features at least looking and feeling like one single button object with a customizable GUI just like a normal button or live.text, but it has 3 states.

So i guess i am hoping to find this in one single object otherwise.

pictcontrol, in dial mode and click to increment, should do it, too

Roman, check ich nicht. Dann müsste ich Bilder benutzen. Dann passt mein Patch von oben ja doch ;)

Uploading attachments has been problematic recently, so if it doesn't happen, all you need to do is to make a custom graphic, three same-sized boxes stitched together side-by-side, and use it in a pictctrl set to dial mode, no. images set to 3, dial range set to 3, click to increment enabled.

Mine is quick n' dirty, so you can see I got the dimensions a bit out, but you get the idea,
