I have a copy of Max/Msp 5.0 that I want to sell, however someone on another forum told me the license is non-transferable. Is there a way to transfer the license?

Suggest you contact customer support and ask pretty please. Last time I read the license (another good thing to do) it was non-transferable, but you might be able to get a one-off permission.
