Can i use jit.alphablend with jit.gl.mesh + my alpha channel picture?

Hi,

I’m newbie with jitter and can still not understand very clearly some "matrix" concepts.
I want to do some video mapping projection with open GL shapes .
I used jit.alphablend to use only the alpha channel of a .jpg to do some form mapping.
but i don’t want to use video clips, i’m trying to learn jit.gl.mesh to do some basic shapes controlled by sound in real time
So, Can i use jit.alphablend with jit.gl.mesh + my alpha channel picture?
i want to mix them to end in a jit.window

sorry if my question is too silly,

Rodrigo

you need to be a little more specific about what you are trying to achieve.
i’m guessing you want pixel transparency based on the alpha channel of a texture applied to 3D geometry.
you pretty much just need to set @blend_enable 1 and @depth_enable 0 for this to work on most any gl object.
