I think you just have to make your patch with preset and the pattr objects in a patch, and then send a number in to control which preset is active.

As far as i know it isn't possible.

not even inlets and outlets will work. [preset] and [grab] always only work with the objects directly connected to them.

a solution could be to use a bunch of [f ] objects with [preset] and sync them with the real controls.

Can I use send and receive on the Preset object?
