Apologies for asking a very basic question, but I can't seem to find a clear answer to this.

I'm trying to run Kontakt 4 and Max MSP at the same time, through an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R. From what I know, neither Kontakt nor the Fast Track have any issues regarding shared ASIO driver usage. Thus - is it possible for Max 5 to use an ASIO driver that is also in use?

Whenever I have Kontakt running through the Fast Track, then go into Max's DSP Status and try to select and activate the Fast Track, I get;

Can Max 5 play through an ASIO driver if another program is using it too?
