Can we have Ctrl-alt-click back?

I really miss the old ctrl-alt-click to get a list of
messages understood by an object – any chance we could
have it back ? Or perhaps there’s some alternative
that I’m missing…?
I just opened an old patch, for example, to be told
that table no longer understands ‘tabrange’ (why not?)
- it would have been nice to be able to just call up a
list of what it does understand, as you used to be
able to do, in order to know how to correct this,
cheers

And now you can click those commands to get message boxes instantly.
It’s great.

Using the range attribute is the way to go now. That said, for
compatibility reason, I just reimplemented the tabrange message for
the next incremental. Thanks for noticing it.

And you can alt+click the left inlet to get a longer list including all the common box attributes like color and presentation_position.

It is great :)
