can you connect 120 objects to 1 object with patch cords in one go?

is it possible to connect more than one object with another via cords without the need of draging each patchcord seperatly? is there any short cut?
…using max/msp 4.5.5

thanks

Check out max toolbox on maxobjects.com by Nathanael Lecaude.

toolbox is great. Yes I hope some of its features will be in Max 5… distribute objects should be there, I would imagine, as might “send message to all selected objects”.

I’m not sure what kind of trickery would be needed for Max to include auto-connections. Lecaude is one clever javascripter. Anyone read through the .js files for Toolbox? Some days I fancy that I *almost* understand what’s going on… not that I could have created it, just appreciating the work of a real expert. It’s armchair coding… my favorite. ;)

Without the toolbox, you can hold shift to connect one-to-many, but that’s no help with many-to-one. Toolbox will handle this and a lot more, highly recommended.
