I'm trying to create a 3D game where the user navigates around a phys.world space avoiding obstacles(which make you loose health) and collecting coins(that add to your score). I'm fairly new to Max, and still trying to figure out how to create this. I've currently turned all the 3D models in my world into phys.body objects to detect collisions for the score. My biggest problem is trying to get my main character to move using ui listen like before I made it a physics body object. I also found that I cant give the other models in the game a moving path when they are physics objects. I've attached the patch I'm working on.

hi. to control a jit.phys.body with a jit.anim.drive object, you simply create a jit.anim.node object to receive the updates from the anim.drive, and send it's position and quat attrs to the phys.body each frame.

you should also set @kinematic 1 on the jit.phys.body, as this is the setting that tells phys.body it's controlled by user animation and not by dynamics.

in the current version of max 6, this functionality doesn't work as well as it should (the collisions behave strangely)

however, this has been fixed and will be available in the next update.
