capture texture aliasing

capture texture aliasing

hi..

i found that using @capture texture method with a nurbs i get aliasing or resolution problem?.. is a right way? or i miss some attribute?

when i remove the jit.gl.texture and videoplane objects i get a right aliasing with no big dents in the lines…

yeah, this is just the way it is when capturing to texture.
i was able to get fairly decent results by doing a few things. set transform_reset 2 on your videoplane. set your texture dims to be twice and size of your window. throw a gauss6X slab after your texture.

the biggest problem will still be those nearly vertical lines. you might be better off looking for a specific shader for this.

thanks for the answer…
i did a big change in the patch to avoid the @capture texture method so now i have a beautiful straight lines.

btw, theres a way to process p.e a nurbs across a slabs chain without @capture text method?
and
theres a specific shader already done in jitter for antialising?
