Catching Max errors

Dear all,

I’m experiencing some limit of the “error” Max standard object.
It seems to be not able to recognize some internal Max error and, of course, OpenGL exceptions.

I would like to catch errors such as:

ob3d_draw_preamble initial: GL Error: Invalid operation

• check failed: no matching exception

• check failed: zgetfn (ob3d_get_offset): corrupt object

• check failed: zgetfn (dest_dim): corrupt object

• check failed: zgetfn (render_ptr): corrupt object

Do you know some other way in order to catch these kind of errors?

Many thanks

Yes, I would much prefer an object which catches all messages to the Max
window. I’d happily ditch error for it. It is pretty useless compared to
what I would imagine as replacement… ;-)
But max 5 is on the way and some promises regarding debugging are made…

Ok.
So right now there is no way to catch errors?
So bad news…
