change Pictures in fpic with integer values

Hi,

in dependence of integer Values, i wants to change pictures in an fpic-object…
valuse above 100 should trigger/load picture 01.png in fpic-object, values over 100 fpr example should load picture 02.png!
Problem: every valuechange creates a bang. How can i realize that, without a bang with every valuechange?
Please look at the patch small patch (in Attachment).

You’are basically asking to reload the picture every time a value is send out of line (every 20 ms or so). You might want to filter the repetition to only send the read message when appropriate:

Great… I´ve changed [zl.change] into [zl change] — So i´ve removed the dot… Now it works very fine. Was that a typing error or have the “.” a meaning?

zl.change is another way to spell the zl object with the change mode in Max 6. The behavior is the same.

FWIW, another way would be to filter the repetition before sending the read message.
