When I connected a message “open recording.wave wave” to a sfrecord object, it doesn’t open a save dialogue box so I am unable to choose my prefered folder to save the file to. Does anyone know how I can choose a folder to save the file to?

Regards,

the message “open” will bring up Save As dialog – but then you’ll have to
type the file name…

there are ways to select a folder (see filepath.help) which you could then
use with [combine] or [sprintf] to add into your open message…
