Choosing directory when recording to disc with grab in .. codec
I tried to record a movie from jit.grab direct to disc. However if i want to specify the codec, in a message something like this:
write mymovie.mov 30. cinepak lossless
it records always into the tutorial Folder, even if i rename the patch and start it from another folder.
how can i change this, or specify a codec using the write message without any other arguments.
PS: I jused the example_3 of the 21jSequenceGrabbers Jitter Tutorial

As I would expect the documentation points out, you
use a pathname for the file rather than merely using its
name. Remember that you’d treat the pathname specially
if it contains any spaces by using double quotes around the
filename, as the Fundamentals manual describes when
dealing with symbols with spaces.
still i dont see a solution. either i send write message to jit.grab, then i can specify a folder to record in. or i can specify a filename, fps, codec, quality, but in this case it is just anywhere, where jit.qt.grab records.
Specifying filepath and fps, codec …
in my case never worked.
Different e.g. with sfrecord~ where when sending open message, you can specify in the file- dialogue window, whick filetype you want to write.
Can you give me en example?
here are some versions of message i tried to send to jit.qt.grab i tried which did not work.
write Macintosh HD:/Dokumente/NewMedia/ name.mov 30. cinepak lossless
or name.mov 30. cinepak lossless HD:/Dokumente/NewMedia/
Please make an example message, if there is a way to do it.
