chromatic fft

I’m kicking myself so hard that I just literally kicked myself.

One of the coolest humans in NYC taught me a trick once. And I am so
ashamed to say that I forgot it. It my have slipped my mind because
I thought I was going to save an example on my computer.

anyway I’m sure many people on the board have quantized an fft
spectrum to a musical scale… but I can not( for the life of me)
remember how to do it. how does one account for the non chromatic
nature of an FFT?

theres an FFTease object but erics site is down and It doesn’t appear
to be available for os10

anyone got a spare patch lying around??????????????

I have a lot of cobweb pages lying around so please do make sure you’re checking the SARC page. My current site, http://www.sarc.qub.ac.uk/~elyon/ should be online now, and the FFTease external in question is called pvtuner~.
