Is it possible to use classes with constructors/deconstuctors when developing objects?

thanks

you could use the flext C++ layer for that:

Thanks Thomas, I’ll have a look at it.

Assuming you are not using flext, is there anything preventing a developer
from writing code that uses C++ features. It’s just a windows dll, right?
Am I missing something?

It’s no problem to write C++ code, but you’ll have problems using Max
objects as C++ classes, though.

Hi Andre,
flext currently doesn’t support jitter and i don’t think it will in the
future.
It’s mostly designed as a compatibility layer between Max/MSP and
PureData, hence it only supports features (with very few exceptions)
that are common to both platforms.

Thomas
