clip jit.noise to only comaptible color plates

this may sound silly, but im looking for an algorithm that when applied to
jit.noise will only spit out harmonious colors.
i am sure this is a matter of personal taste but the defualt jit, noise is a
bit to… noisy

you could use jit.charmap to remap the values to more pleasing ones.

this approch means i have to gather beforehand sets of matching colors, i
guess.
well cant expect the computer to fix my color blindness.

That’s the rub of software. It doesn’t do anything you don’t tell it
to do. The trick is to act at a high level and tell the computer do
do all of the dirty work for you.

Hi Yair,

You might be interested in the Gaussian ane other noise generators
(exponential, Poisson, bounded white noise, etc.) available in the
Litter Bundle for Jitter Preview.

Most of the page backgrounds at my web site were done with LBJ
objects. Browse around.
