XP | Max 457 | Jdk 1.5
… Array out of bound exception blabla… BOOM

Funny. My own midifle external works fine at home but crashes the same
way on other machines… And it’s in Java too. And the inspirational
comes also from jsressources.org…

cheers

Hi f.e.

Could you give some more information about what you’re doing when it crashes (playinf, recording,..)? All machines are the same (XP, 4.5.7,…)

The developer of this objects works on a Mac, and I doubt it’s been tested on XP. One would hope that Java would be fine, but.

BTW: For everyone else, John MacCallum (here at CNMAT) wrote a nice Java object that reads and writes type 0 and type 1 MIDI files. Hopefully, this will be a solution for some very common, old complaints about Max.
