colls: testing for equality

August 21, 2008 | 11:35 am

Before I code one myself, just checking: does anyone know of an
object or abstraction that compares two colls for equality of content?

Thanks,
Dan

Data or index and data? If its only data, and the size isn’t too big,
I’d dump them into a list and zl compare them. Something like this:

Data only – that’s very nice Stefan, thank you! The idea is much
cleaner than the one I wrote yesterday (where I first compared the
lengths, and if equal, then went element by element comparing them to
each other).

There was a couple of little bugs that I’ve fixed, and I’ve also made
it so that you can just send it a list of two coll names in its
inlet, for easier encapsulation:

doesn’t banging zl group work? Then you could get rid of the gates:

Yeah, you’re right – much cleaner!

Thanks,
Dan
