so i am successfully tracking multiple blobs using chromakey and cv.jit. i am tracking fluorescent colors that i hope will be fairly unique, and i have overlayed the camera matrix stream onto a customizable 'map' that allows me to draw where interesting trackable blobs are. I have experimented with some success using fastblur to blur the image which improves tracking somewhat. I may try a guassian blur or another filter (open to suggestions on this one). I am still trying to find ways of improving tracking by enhancing the color.

Basically I am looking for a way to magnify my chosen color. The effect would be something like: if a pixels color is close to the color I have chosen it will impact the surrounding pixels and cascade through. In my mind its an iterative process but it doesn't have to be - it can a be a one pass thing where the proximity to the chosen color influences the distance and amount of the effect.

Is there an effect / external / easy way of doing this? I am fairly new to max msp jitter and new to video as well.

Any other thoughts on improving tracking would be appreciated. Thanks?
