Composer's contest

I’d like to announce a composer’s contest for acoustic instruments
with live electronics, open to composers born on or after March 1, 1973.
Selected compositions will be performed at the Hamburger Klangwerktage
during the last week of November 2008.

The deadline for submission is September 1, 2008.

Everyone knows that only The Young have the
sufficient Ch’i reserves of to Stick It
To The Man [whose age we know, presumably].

Oh, wait – we are actually Encouraging New
Talent. Oops!

Pity, too – Nick’s pavane for violas and
crosscut saw sounds just like it was written
by someone much um… younger.

I think it should be open to all and let the merits of the piece
decide.
