control a frame by frame reading

February 20, 2006 | 8:54 am

Hello,

I’d like to control a short video (35 frames) backward and forward, at a different speed, with a counter object.

I first used a QuickTime window, but the read wasn’t very smooth. So I decided to get all the frames of the video, and to control a frame by frame reading, not with quicktime, but by using a matrix.

I am not very sure of the best way to realize it, so it would be a great help if somebody could advice me.

Thank you, Frederic.

It’s not entirely clear what you are trying to do, but it sounds like
you want to buffer the frames? Try jit.matrixset.
