control cycle~'s phase like with [phasor]

Hi all!

Is there a better way to do this more precisely?
With an equation instead of scale?

note:I know cycle~ starts @ cosine

This way works but it is not exact.

Thanks a lot in advance :-)

what are you exactly trying to do ?

If you want [cycle~] to start at zero, send 0.25 to [phasor~] phase inlet. It’s that simple ;)

or … use a custom wavetable within cycle which has that phase offset of 0.25 already.

Would something like this help?

Hey thanks a lot guys

sometimes one gets brain dead. But with mudang’s answer I found how to do what I wanted in 20secs.

Basically, I like using oscillators to control parameters in order to create generative music by retriggering the osc. phases. < -I put them everywhere either for AMP control and/or well anything. The tightness of signal domain is just top notch for beats etc...

Anyways, in this situation I was using it to retrig cycle’s phase that was hooked up to an [*~ ] amplifier.

That way you can fade in fade out @ different “loop startpoints” if you will.

Thanks a lot to all.

Here is the answer and very simple equation:
(Hope it helps someone in the futur.)
