I'm working on a project that uses a combination of jit.findbounds and other objects to track the movement of items of a particular color.

The patch works great, so long as my webcam's auto-settings don't kick in too hard.

I'm working to control external parameters like controlled lighting and camera placement, but I was hoping to also find a way to turn off the automatic adjustments of the webcam.

I found uvc-ctrl but have not been able to get it to recognize any cameras, including the internal isight.

It's possible I'm not installing it correctly (seems like there's a GUI version and a command line version?), but I thought perhaps it could also be that it doesn't work with Mavericks.
