Controlling non-MIDI-mappable parameters in Ableton

Hi all,
I'm relatively new to Max for Live and am mainly interested in its possibilities for hardware integration. I want to control some functions in Ableton that are not by default MIDI mappable with a controller; for instance, I want to scrub back and forth in the timeline with an encoder or zoom in and out of playhead position in the arrangement view.

After talking to Live tech support and doing some research, I came across this:
https://cycling74.com/docs/max5/refpages/m4l-ref/m4l_live_object_model.html

this page references some commands like zoom_view and scrub_by, but I have no idea how to access those or deal with them through Max for Live.

Any help is appreciated!

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Necrobump for this, does anyone know the syntax to get the zoom_view working?

According to LOM the syntax should be like this.

Interestingly, it works for me when using 'Arranger' as view_name but NOT with 'Detail/Clip'.

So it's obviously a bug (or incomplete implementation).

Interesting, as it states it works for Detail/Clip doesn't it?

This should be implemented in the current version before we start getting asked for money to upgrade to 6!

Did you get this to work with live9 / max 6.1?

Been trying to get clip zooming and scrolling and it's not working. It says it should but I really don't think they have it implemented.
