is there a way to build a convolution reverb using max/msp and a windows machine?
Or if not a dconvolution engine or anything impulse response related.. Any
form of help would be great..

as i understand it, its possible to convolve an impulse response in a buffer with a signal using [buffir~], but the length of the impulse can only be a maximum of 128 samples (nowhere near long enough for a reverb, but long enough for a filter).
convolution is a topic that crops up fairly frequently on the forums, sadly it is generally considered to be very difficult to achieve in max due to the sheer number of calculations necessary.

thanks for your help , would it be easy to design a patch that will play sine waves and record at the same time for an impulse response?
