Hello,

I’d like to know if my GPU is able to handle stereographic rendering.
Where could I obtain such information?

thank you.

You need to find out if it supports quad-buffered stereo. Otherwise, you can use passive stereo as opposed to active stereo. In the cosm download, there’s an example using passive stereo, which will work on any hardware.

I dont see any passive or active mode.
I only see a "stereo 0" or "stereo 1" which set on/off the stereo mode.
Could you point out what is the message for passive/active stereo mode.

thanks

sorry. I thought this was already in the download, but apparently not. Here’s a passive stereo example. You’re right that there’s only stereo 1/0. That’s for active stereo. Passive stereo requires a totally different patching structure:

I’ve just updated the download packages to include the new passive stereo example patches (and a couple of other minor fixes).

Enjoy!
