Counter carry flag bug?


Don’t know if it’s just me, but setting a counters carry flag output to ‘bang’ in the inspector is not saved with the patch.
On re-opening it’s set back to ‘numeric’…

you will have to ‘freeze’ this attribute. Choose ‘bang’, highlight the attribute, then click the ‘freeze attribute’ icon in the lower left toolbar of the inspector.

Any attribute that is italicized must be frozen to be saved.

mmhh, ok, but this breaks old Max 4.x patches (just found one in my zillion of old patches…)

And, may I ask why is this attribute not permanent in Max5, but has to be frozen?
I can’t imagine a situation where a user wants a carry bang in a patch AND wants int carry flags the next time she/he opens that patch…
