Okay, so I’m trying to create a glitch patch to be controlled using a games controller (360 wired). So far so good, it works as I wanted however, I need to create something that will count the amount of samples that have been played up until the point of the glitch initiation, then freeze for the glitch and then unfreeze when the user stops the glitch(this also needs to work with the samples looping).

How would I go about doing this? I’m using buffer and groove to load in the samples.

Thanks for any enlightenment.
