I'm trying to filter white noise in order to get a more random "crackle" effect, rather like vinyl record surface noise.

Does anyone have a good way of filtering the [noise~] object to achieve a more random/uneven sound?

Instead of top down, try bottom up - the click~ object....

pleasee try the following: multiply noise~ with pink~ ! or two times with pink.

and dont forget that there is also +, -, phasereverse, and slide~.
