crash: CPU capabilities?

Hi all,
I’ve been getting pretty routine crashes running a particular patch and I’m baffled as to why. One thing in common to them all is this:

****
Thread 0 Crashed:
0 < <00000000>> 0xffff061a __bzero + 26 (cpu_capabilities.h:226)
1 libSystem.B.dylib 0x9000a878 strncpy + 216
****

Any idea what this might mean? I’ve uploaded the entire crash log if that helps.

Mac 10.4.9, crashes on both a Macbook pro and Mac pro.

Let me know if I can provide any more info.

Thanks,
David

That’s a crash in the standard C library. Looks like someone was
trying to strncpy to or from a string referenced from a null struct
pointer.

Do you have a copy of the patch that will reproduce this? That would
probably help cycling more than anything else.
