Hi, on OS 10.8, when Max5 or Max6 in 32bit is approaching 3GB of used RAM, opening more patcher windows will result in a crash in

juce::Image::clear(int, int, int, int, juce::Colour const&)

I made a patch (attached) that saturates memory using lots of buffer~. You should start it, and create some more buffers with new names until Max complains

to be sure you're close to the maximum. Then start opening help windows. After 50 or so, Max is over 3GB and will eventually crash.

Some script wizard can surely automate this process.
