This is the result of some issues with floating point pbuffers under OS X, when trying to read to non RGBA (i.e. 4 plane) texture targets. If you change your readback matrix to 4 planes, your patch should work without issue with 5.1.5 using pbuffers. The other issues that we fixed for floating point textures were more fundamental, and should solve other issues that were present with floating point textures and readback.

We can fix this for a future release, but the workaround is straight forward (and what we'd need to do behind the scenes anyway). Sorry for the inconvenience.
