Crash with Panel and line object in Max 5

July 26, 2008 | 8:45 pm

Hi I’m working in a simple patch with Max 5 that looks great, but I have crashes when I try to modify the "patching_rect" numbers in the panel object using a "line". The line is working good as always, on the other hand the numbers in the patching_rect works good also using the mouse, but when I connect the output line with one number that go into the "pak patching_rect 0 .0 .0 .0" object my patch crash.
Any idea? thanks for the help
David

You need to add a [deferlow] object, because panel can’t be resized in
high priority.

Then panel (and all who’d be concerned) should deferlow its resizing
function by itself. Just to avoid a crash… You can’t always remember
this little details while patching… ;-)
