I am getting frequent crashes on a large patch with 20 "groove~" objects and 12 buffers (several of the grooves read from the same buffers).

Is the crash really related to my "groove~"s? The Max window remains empty, leaving me guessing.

My patch is way to complicated to post unchanged and would take quite a bit to boil down to something that shows the problem, so I am looking for a pointer to where I should look first.
