creating a standalone app out of this…

November 13, 2006 | 3:54 pm

hello and welcome to my first post

I have a simple patch that takes input noise and resynths it based on frequency and amplitude. (I hope I’ve uploaded the right patch, I think it requires an external patch but I can only attach one patch)

anyway, my goal is to turn this patch into an .exe file that will work on any operating system. So my question is, based on all the information about turning patches into applications (basically none it seems) should I abandon this project before I even begin? My knowledge of max/MSP is pretty much limited to what I’ve done in this patch.

if someone can tell me which external patch is needed I’ll post it. Right now I’m on a computer with an expired max/MSP trial, so I can’t look and see for myself. Here’s the "fiddle.mxe" patch, which I suspect to be the needed external patch, but I might be wrong.

note: I call everything in max a "patch" (sorry if it’s confusing)

There should still be that never expireing MaxPlay. You should be able
to load it with that…
It will complain like Max about missing externals…
