ctlin as foot switch

February 18, 2011 | 1:15 am

Hi! i´ve a little stupid problem ja, i use my midi controller as a foot switch, i use a select object, but the problem is that select sends a bang when the number of controller is activate, but i want to activate a toggle so, i can´t hold a number 1 cus when i stop pressing my midi controller select sends a bang again that gets the toggle off. So if somebody can give me an idea of how to keep the number one when i stop pressing my midi key, and how to get a "0" when i press again the midi key, that will be great.

Thanks much!
All the best.

Can you give a bit more information? Are you wanting to press a specific key on your MIDI keyboard as a trigger, or are you pressing a foot pedal, or moving a controller knob/wheel?

Sorry, yes, my midi controller is a keyboard so, i want to use it as a foot pedal, so i want to press a key to activate the effect, and take off the effect pressing the key again.
Thanks much.
