When I recently assigned my students to bring in USB game controllers and connect them with Max for a project, they ran into compatibility issues. It seems like some of the recent controllers (PS4 in particular) are not HID compatible and therefore do not work with the [hi] object.

Does anyone know which currently available controllers DO work with Max? Is anyone maintaining a list of these? This is not so much about Max being compatible, but knowing which hardware devices to recommend for connecting with Max.
