Curved Automation

I know theres a patch for max for live that I can type in or whatever to get curved automtions in the Midi CC envelope drawer. Can someone post this up for me because I don’t remember how to get to the post in which I inquired about something like this once before.

Alright how do I paste the patch and get it to install? Also, if anyone has a patch that allows you to draw curved automation instead of just straight lines let me know.

I can copy the crap inbetween the lines begine max patcher and end max patcher. I can go into max4live and select new from clipboard. I don’t know what to do next.

You need to create a m4l device first, and then paste it. There are lots of tutorials you should first run through. Your project is not for an afternoon, unless you have some experience already…
Do not expect to get a link for every tutorial here…

love…

technoui~ is a possibility for curved automations (or breakpoint functions etc…) also there are some curvy versions of function~ around I think. not sure where they are exactly but I did read about them…

A dedicated curve-ready function~ would be a nice object to see in a future release!
