[cycle~ buffer] bugreport?

hi,

lately i’ve been experimenting with drawing my own waveforms. i’m using
cycle~ to play it but what i want to do now is drawing the waveform in
realtime. but everytime i change my wave in the waveform~ object i have to
switch the audio off and on again to let cycle~ play it. and when i
doubleclick in cycle~ it does show the correct buffer but it won’t play it
instantly.

am i forgetting something or is this a bug?

instead of switching the dac off and on you could simply send a [set
myBuffername] to cycle~ everytime you change the buffer contents.
or use wave~ instead of cycle~. no need to notify buffer-changes with
this one.
maybe that helps.
