Yesterday, I sent a bug report to Cycling '74. Andrew Pask replied to me asking a project of my 

, which I'm developing. I sent a project with two forthcoming versions of software one of which was unable to compile in Gen patcher. He was able to compile the Gen patcher on his machine, then he suddenly disapeared. I'm curious here why I had no assistance whatsoever and just send a complete project of my own. Is it a scheme for taking people projects for your own or it is a help form? I will never send any file anymore if there will not be any qualified customer support from Cycling '74 crew.

I'm awaiting for a reply on my two letters to Andrew. If there will be no reply I will monitor Cycling '74 for not inclusion of my code in any libraries for which I have not done any permission. I also reccomend to you guys, if I sent an e-mail asking for an anonymous revision be polite and answer at least that it is ok. Or any of us will stop to contribute into this community.

He didn't answer you immediately so your most logical conclusion is that Cycling 74 wants to steal your stuff?

haha, we are trying to implement our thinking structure in a signal process, and in the end we end up with yellow wires between our braincells. :)

So basically this was an "I'd like to speak to the manager! Now!" approach?

The Cycling 74 people ive spoken with have always been wonderful. It wouldnt be in their interests to steal someones work, dont worry about it.

Maybe Ruslan has some bad experiences from the past and/or different social context? And stealing in the age of digital media is a funny thing: sometime ago I discovered a guy who uses fragments of my biography copied from my web page... that was strange, be leave me ;-)

Anyway, I really like WETTERBERG's comment - this is great sense of humor restoring proper proportions of reality.

Basically, it's more like you at the shop and the price is 22 cents and then when you go to check out they told you it's 23. And you are looking insane on this girl sitting in front of you and asking: "Please, let me speak with manager, now!". And then manager comes and fills in the coin and you feel: "wow he just put the coin instead of me" :) But what he done: he commited a crime.

(It's funny, at first, I thought the OP had too much ego, but then I read the rest, noticed so many people here just couldn't let it go(everyone here is actually acting like I have in the past: posting opinions that don't matter), and now it's easy to see: we're ALL a bunch of completely judgmental dickheads in this community, hahahahahahaha :D ...myself included here, of course!)

Edit: except for Andrew, for once, he was not as cold/distant, and his heart almost turned lukewarm ;D

(oh and wendycarlos, albeit had some cheesy/cliche poetry, still made a unique effort)

or to put it another way, for those who don't like humor: to be complete about our idea of humanity, would mean empathizing with andrew over ruslan's high-maintenance, AND empathizing with ruslan over the insecurity of the context.
