I have spent a lot of time migrating my Max projects to M4L.

THE PROBLEM My device will not run consistently while open in Max and crashes either Max or Live when I save and close it.

I could potentially work this way but it will be very slow going. I would really like to get to the bottom of the reasons for the crashing and solve the problem.

The methods that I am using for debugging right now are:

1) The Max output window while the device is open in Max

2) the Max output window for the device while running in Live

3) The Live crash report open in a text editor

The problem seems to happen somewhere in between closing in Max and reopening in Live.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or a process that will help me determine the problem and solve it?

This kind of problem was quite common with earlier versions of M4L.
