Declaring classes in javascript?

I was wondering if there is a way to declare classes in javascript
and instantiate them? Does anyone have an example that demonstrates this? Sorry for the cross post.

Dan Flanagan talks about this in depth in "Javascript: The Definitive
Guide"; I really liked his explanation of it. Also, I noticed your
austin.rr.com address… let me know if you need me to return UT’s
copy of it. I’ve had it checked out for a while.
