I've been through the manual and can't see how I can detect that a jit.qt.movie has finished.

I don't really want to have to use the gettrackduration message, route, unpack, expr and past to have to do it unless absolutely necessary.

Use @loopreport 1, you'll get "loopnotify" out the right outlet when it's done. this is a lot less taxing than checking frames etc.
