If you increase the number of steps, the movement taken to move the dial no longer increases. This means that it’s impossible to make more accurate dials.

For example, a dial with 100 steps, moves exactly like a dial with 1000 steps in the new version. Previously a dial with 1000 steps would be more accurate than the 100 step dial as the dial value changed less quickly with a mouse movement.

I would ask for this please to be changed back as it makes many of my patches more difficult to operate.

That allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the dial.

I’m not sure why the “Dial Pixels Per Value Change” parameter isn’t included in the actual dial object, just in the pictctrl…
