dialog object without text field

hi !

i think max should have a [dialog]-like object, but without text field, just to display some text as a modal window.

just an idea…

I agree that there should be a built-in cross-platform object/way of doing this. I’ve used the [aalert] object for it previously, but it’s also only for OSX.

I generally relax my requirements for it being truly modal, and just build a fake dialog in Max.

Same for me. In case it may be usefull to someone, here is attached the small abstraction I built for that (see the “confirmDialog.maxhelp”).
Please post it back here if you improve it.
